EYE CATCHING - The Musa ensete Maurelli has lovely eye catching green and bronze paddle shaped leaves, and can grow to between 3 and 5 metres in height. In warmer areas of the country it can be grown outdoors in pots on a patio.

SOIL - This plant is best grown in well drained soil and positioned in a South or West facing, sheltered area which receives full sunlight to partial shade.

FLOWERING - During the Summer this plant, produces cup shaped flowers which then give way to dry banana like fruit. The fruit produced from this plant is not edible.
