• KA SBR is a water resistant PVA and can be used in many applications, it can be used as an admixture for concreting which improves workability, durability and will also reduce any shrinkage as well as many plastering and rendering uses.
• However one of it's main usages and the reason why we stock and sell this is it's excellent use as a base primer for surfaces prior to applying tanking slurry for damp proofing surfaces.
• Simply mix the required amount of SBR with water at a ratio of 2:1 and apply to the areas to be worked, allow a short time for this to go 'tacky' and then apply your tanking for a complete protection with the added bonus on extra adhesion.
