Made of plastic. Attach to the metal ring when tying your horse and slip the lead rope through. In the event of the horse panicking, the device releases the horse and is then reusable. Although it cannot prevent injury in all cases, it does significantly reduce the risk. Safer than string and has now been made even better and more versatile with a new security sleeve. Can be used inside and outside the stable as well as whilst travelling in a horsebox or trailer. Can be safely left outside in all weathers.
