The Pressurised Pond Filter with built-in UV is a highly effective solution for maintaining excellent water quality in your pond and ensuring the health of your fish. Designed to be continuously pressurized by your existing or optional pond pump, it filters water to remove impurities. The water is fed directly from the pump to the filter container and then to the outlet under constant pressure. This design allows for easy concealment around the pond, especially when incorporating a waterfall. The unit features a small float that pops out to indicate when a thorough cleaning is needed. It also includes a built-in UV light that prevents algae growth and eliminates harmful microorganisms and parasites that can cause fish diseases. The pressurised filter includes 5 filter foams (3 fine yellow foams and 2 coarse blue foams) as well as bio balls with a cage for effective filtration. It has separate biological and mechanical filter chambers for efficient removal of dissolved and solid waste. The filter enables the rapid growth of aerobic bacteria, leading to the removal of ammonia and nitrite. It can handle higher water flows compared to traditional gravity filters. The unit comes complete with inlet and outlet hose adapters for easy installation.
