Stonecare4U’s Anti-Condensation Paint is a heat amended acrylic copolymer emulsion paint which is suitable for internal use on walls and ceilings. It serves two purposes and is appropriate for use in kitchens, bathrooms and ceilings, where there are build-ups of black spot mould. This paint assists in reducing this build up and helps to inhibit any regrowth of black spot mould. There is a variety of 10 colours available in our Anti-Condensation Paint; all of which produce a stunning finish. It is perfect for use on internal surfaces which have cold outside facing walls or low levels of insulation.
The Anti-Condensation Paint addresses the common issues of mould growth and build-up in two different ways. Our formula contains tiny cenospheres, also known as ‘beads’, which raise the temperature of the surface, when applied, to assist in reducing the development of condensation. An active fungicide can also be found in the formula of the paint, which also helps to further prevent the accumulation of mould. As mould requires moisture to thrive, the shared advantage of this paint has a dual effect to help inhibit the growth of this mould.
Stonecare4U’s Anti-Condensation Paint is continually used to help regulate condensation levels on internal walls and ceilings in kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms. Human health is potentially at risk with the presence of black spot mould and it can also be extremely unpleasant appearance-wise. The damaging effects of the black spot mould spores, can be especially harmful to sufferers of asthma or anybody with enduring breathing issues.

Features and benefits
For best results, any surfaces the anti-condensation paint is being applied to, should be clean, dry, and free from surface contaminants.
1. Clean & Neutralise any Mould or Mildew
Any walls and ceilings which show signs of black spot mould infestation, should be cleaned thoroughly with Stonecare4U Grout Mould Cleaner first.
2. Make good any surface defects
Any surface defects should be filled before the anti-condensation paint is applied. Ideally this should be done using a good quality plaster filler that can be found in most DIY stores.
3. Painting over Existing Paint
Stonecare4U Anti-Condensation Paint will easily cover the majority of Matt-finish emulsions. However, please be aware of painting over some eggshell, silk and vinyl finish paints which are historically resistant to overpainting.
4. Existing Stains
Long standing black spot mould infestations can permanently stain or blacken a surface such as plaster, timber or existing paint. In instances like this, it may be advisable to subsequently decorate to help disguise and hide the staining.
APPLICATION:
- Stir thoroughly prior to use.
- Apply by brush or roller at least 2 coats of Stonecare4U Anti-Condensation Paint. If trying to coat dark or strong colours, an additional coat may be required to totally disguise original colour.
- DO NOT apply at air or surface temperatures below 10 °C or in areas of high humidity.
