Citrus plants are demanding plants, especially when it comes to proper nutrition. These quite "voracious plants" react in different ways due to insufficient nutrient supply. The leaves may turn yellow (so-called chlorosis), they may be stained, or the flowers and fruit may fall off. In order for the plant to bind large, nutritious fruit, it needs a lot of nutrients.
