The Live and Neutral are insulated in blue/brown coloured PVC insulation.

The overall bundle of wires is insulated in a grey PVC outer casing. The 1.0mm, 1.5mm & 2.5mm cables have a solid cable construction whilst all cables above 4.0mm are constructed of stranded copper conductive wires.
