The DCG405 Flathead brings corded power, over-mould comfort and no-volt release to the new line of Dewalt angle grinders. The slide switch provides less user fatigue. Built in no-volt release gives protection against accidental start ups when new battery is installed.

The brushless motor gives the DCG405NF a huge advantage over brushed models. The previous brushed DCG412 can perform 49 cuts in 1/2inch steel rebar. The DCG405 can perform 64 cuts in the same materiel, completely outclassing the previous generation.
