The open back rasp float was created with the aim of efficiently and precisely levelling styrofoam surfaces during building insulation work without the need for frequent cleaning of the tool from styrofoam residues. This functionality was achieved by using an openwork base construction. During the sanding process, excess styrofoam does not remain in the holes - as is the case with traditional styrofoam graters - but freely and smoothly passes through the upper part of the trowel, avoiding any interruptions.

Handle:

The large circumference provides a comfortable grip that securely fits in the hand during many hours of circular and linear movements at work. It gives a sense of comfort and control over the tool. Made of plastic, it is durably connected to the base. The tubular design of the handle translates into reduced tool weight and improved comfort while working with it.

Rubbing Surface:

The working part - the grater - has been made from galvanized steel. It is sharp, perfectly straight, and has a size that ensures a quick effect of a properly smoothed and levelled surface. The optimal size of the holes makes the trowel easy to clean, and the blade height provides a sense of control over the levelled surface.
