Chard (Beet Leaf) 'Bright Lights' Plants - 8 Pack - Easy Planting

'Bright Lights' produces a rainbow of coloured stems that are crowned with large leaves of green or bronze. The flavour is deliciously mild and packed with nutritional content.

Planting of this chard should occur from mid March onwards, preferably with a cloche or other frost protection for cropping in September onwards. Alternatively plant around July to grow over Winter for cropping in early Spring.

Grow in a sheltered spot in moist well draining soil, rich in organic matter and plant during a cool part of the day. Water after planting, with plant food to prevent transportation shock. It's also best to water with plant food added during its growing season to allow for a good crop.
