Anemone Wild Swan 7cm Potted Plant x 1

This variety of anemone is a truly beautiful perennial and Winner of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year Award in 2011.This variety was trialled over a 10 year period and is a cross between early and late flowering anemones. The unique flowers bloom intermittently from April right through to the autumn, producing stunning visuals. Each elegant white flower is backed with pretty blue streaks that look particularly eye catching when the flowers nod closed in the mornings and evenings. A superb hardy perennial for borders and woodland gardens with a neat, compact habit and it is also a brilliant option for use in cottage and wildlife gardens. Grow in moist fertile, well drained soil in sun or dappled shade. Anemone plants dislike wet ground, particularly during winter. Improve soil conditions by adding plenty of well rotted manure or compost prior to planting. Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. Cut back flowers as they fade. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps in spring.
