How it works - If you experience problems trying to finely tune

the signal strength on your aerial/satellite dish, the chances are that the

input signal into your aerial/dish is too high. The symptom can be difficult to

spot but a poor quality signal, a signal with lines in or distorted audio could

be a sign of a signal being too strong but it could also be too weak.This problem is otherwise known as 'excess gain' (which causes your signal

to be too high at lower settings). Our f-type attenuator uses

precision resistors to reduce the excess.How to use - The attenuator should be plugged into the input on

your sat box (for example) or distribution amplifier, whichever comes first

from the dish/aerial. This will then drop the signal by 6dB and will

hopefully resolve any issues you had (providing that the signal you were
